Poet David Morris

Marriage 101

You are nasty to me, I am nasty to you;
I am not happy, you are not happy;
you blame me, I blame you.

I sleep alone, you sleep alone;
I say I cannot stand it, you say you cannot stand it;
I find your faults, you find my faults.

You say you want out, I say I want out;
you punish me, I punish you;
we only disagree who started it.
