When I was a teen, my father was an unwanted authority;
he would keep emphasizing the value of family.

When I was an adult, my father was my counselor;
he passed on his wisdom and love. 

When I was a father, my father was my guide;
he revealed the middle path to me. 

When my father died I was alone;
until I realized, that I had become my father.
