Celtic Circle: Bard

I am the playwright: I write the script; I design the stage; I select the characters; I choose the scenes; I pick the costumes; I create the past; I fashion the present; I determine the future; I construct conflict and resolution; I imitate life.
I am alone.

I am the actor: I follow the script that I have been given; I remember my lines; I move when I am to move; I sing when I am to sing; I laugh when I am to laugh; I cry when I am to cry; I love when I am to love; I act as if it is real. I am alone.

I am the audience: I long to be entertained; I glance for a moment before the sunlight goes down; I contemplate the characters; I scrutinize the plot; I wonder about intermission; I am living through the characters; I cannot fall asleep before I discover the ending; I judge them all. I am alone.
