 A Letter to an Alpha-Leader
To: The Alpha-Leader
From: David Morris
Date: Anytime
I Know:
Almost nothing about your company and industry.
Almost nothing about you.
I do not expect you:
To recommend me to your friends.
To share my ideas with others.
To have a non-compete agreement.
I expect to accomplish:
Very little for you.
I expect:
You to personally contact me the first time.
To not assist anyone else in the firm.
To not do any reports, studies, surveys, or proposals for your organization.
To be paid on a one year retainer, plus expenses.
I will share with you as a fellow Alpha-Leader:
A reasonable amount of my individual time. We can get together during your work, travel, vacations, or when you are at home. I will share the wisdom of form, force, and power.
This arrangement, without preconditions and pre-expectations will release us both from fear associated with current understanding. Be happy that your competition is still listening to those who continue to promise anything they want to hear. Pray that competition has more people than you do to intercept their mail and return form letters.
